SHARING IS CARING!
Tanglewood Campground is located in Tioga County, PA which is in the northern part of the state. Covington is located near Mansfield and Wellsboro, PA and it is a beautiful campground to visit.

The campground has all of the usual amenities including sites that will fit all sizes of campers, some of the cleanest bathhouses I’ve seen so far, laundry facilities and a dump station to use on your way out.
If you don’t have a camper, they also have a handful of cabins you can rent as well so there’s no reason not to visit Tanglewood.

The grounds are well maintained with many trees and a gorgeous lake where you can swim and kayak. You will probably also see ducks, geese and maybe some deer visiting while you’re there.
Area attractions include Pennsylvania Grand Canyon also called Pine Creek Gorge, the Tioga Rail Trail in Wellsboro and in August a short drive to South Williamsport for the Little League World Series.
And if you’re not leaving the campground, they have scheduled events for children and adults that they post on their Facebook page ahead of time. We played bingo while we were there and it was super fun!
Our campsite was one of the first ones when entering the campground and it was right across from the store. Their store was amazing and stocked with so much inventory including some yummy frozen coffee drinks that we all enjoyed!

The people were all very friendly including the staff and the owner. The weekend we were there, we had the best weather so that made it absolutely perfect! If you’re ready to book your stay, visit their website. Once you get to their website, click “Make a reservation” at the top right and it will take you to Reserve America to book.
If there are any downsides of Tanglewood, I would have to say it’s the road to get into the campground. It is a STEEP dirt road so take your time and be careful. It will definitely be worth it once you get to the top!! I promise!
